2 c. sugar
1/3 c baking cocoa
1/2 c milk
1/4 c butter or margarine
2 1/2 c quick-cooking oats
1/2 c peanut butter
2 tsp vanilla
Combine sugar, cocoa, milk & butter in 3 qt saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occassionally, until mixture comes to a boil, about 10 min. Cook 2 more minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in oats, peanut butter & vanilla. Stir just until blended. Drop mixture by teaspoonfuls on waxed paper lined baking sheets. Makes 3 dozen.

These have been around for years, called no bake, etc; i love this recipe the best & don't use wax paper actually i simply put on cookie sheets & once cooled, transfer to plates. Even doubling the recipe which we always do, my grandkids make them disappear quickly!
