I think this used to be one of Target's selections.  I have been reading this for a couple days (it's almost 500 pages) and I swear I've checked several times to make sure it was fiction.  It reads like a memoir of best friends going through life's tribulations and trials.  I can't believe what a good job Moody did with her narratives of the different phases of life with the two women, while tackling tough subjects like divorce, homosexuality, pornography, drug use, and familial relationships!  Anyone else read it?

I"ve had it on my too be read pile for a long time.  So long I can't remember how I even obtained the book.  I often think of reading it but just never have gotten around to it!

I read it sometime last year I believe.  The story ended up completely different than I expected, but I definitely enjoyed it.  Martha Moody has a new release coming out in case you want to add it to your Wish List!

I really did enjoy that book, and actually have passed it out as a lender, and plan on reading it again.

I read at the start of the summer and loved it! I was sad when I finished it! I passed it on to my mother, who also loved it, and now my sister-in-law has it. It still is one of Target's selections--or it was when I bought it--that's how I stumbled across it in the first place.
