Long time "best friends" relationship is complicated by the mother of one of the women. This book points out that some people with money really do think they are entitled. Well written, interesting story about the dynamics of a long time relationship that started when these two women were in high school. Another lesson learned in the book is that love can find a way.

Enjoyed this book for the most part. The story of two long time friends from different backgrounds and how they learn to live with how different they are. Love the ending of the book! And how David was willing to do anything to be with Jayne. The only part I kept screaming at the book about was the Mother, Elizabeth, and what a stuck up snot she was when she came from the same background as Jayne.. But I guess it was suppose to be that way. LOL!

This was a well written story about best friends and conflicting roles with other family members. I really enjoyed this out of all her other stories because it was easy to relate to. How many of us had friends who were from a different level of class as you or who was more beautiful? You won't be disappointed with this story!

For me, Susan Mallery is a sure bet for a great contemporary romance, and this book is no exception. Great storyline, well-developed characters, and a happy ending. Read it in a day!

As always wonderful cast of characters. The person I feel for most is Rebecca because she is so lost. I love the dynamics of everyone in this book and how they interact together. Mallery always manages to suck you in with the people she creates even though her plots are relatively simple. I ended up losing sleep just so I can finish the story.

I have read several books by Susan Mallery. This one is about the relationship of two lifelong friends, that seems to be tested every step of the way. Throw in a woman who was not much of a mother to both of them, and the handsome brother, who is trying not to be a part of the madness, and you have a great story line!
