This is a collection of poems most loved by the American People, Not nec by Americans. Thomas Moore, Elizabeth Barrett Browning,Wordsworth,Tennyson, Lord Byron, Keats and more. The poems were compiled in the 1930s for this book. Dont expect modern poets. Do expect to be amazed and moved.

Love this book! Some of my best childhood memories are of my grandma reading the poems to me.
