What's your favorite biblical fiction? I've read The Red Tent, and although I didn't love it, I thought it was interesting. And I've read Orson Scott Card's Women of Genesis series, and liked that (probably because he's my favorite author). |

Francine Rivers has a series of Biblical fiction. Short easy to read books. One is "Unveiled:Tamar", also "Unashamed:Rahab". There's one on Bathsheba and I think several others. |

she also has her Sons of Encourament series about Aaron, Caleb, Jonathan, Amos and Silas. Gilbert Morris has a biblbica series - Lion of Judah. I think Lynn Austin has one as well. |

Taylor Caldwell was a good writer years ago. The books I especially liked were: GREAT LION OF GOD- (the story of Paul) DEAR AND GLORIOUS PHYSICIAN - (the story of Luke) I, JUDAS -(the story of Judas ) |

ESCAPE FROM EPHESUS by Lance Webb. The novel re-creates the excitment of the early Christian network of believers and is based on the events described in Paul's epistle of Philemon. |

I have only read Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt by Anne Rice Fictional story about Jesus as a child. It was a selection by our book club. It was interesting, but I wouldn't say I enjoyed it. It just felt like assigned ready to me. On my TBR I have: Rahab's Story by Ann Burton and Lineage of Grace Series by Francine Rivers (I think there are 4 in the series) |

I have a book on my shelf that I just finished reading recently. I thought it was AMAZING. It's by Steve Stevens and it's called Beginnings: A Gallery of Biblical Portraits. It's a fictionalized account of the Genesis stories, from the perspective of "The Story Teller" -- Moses. |
