This was a lot better than I expected it to be. There were just enough details in the story for it to make sense but not to bog you down, and the pace was quick and suspenseful. I really enjoyed the way it ended too.

Smoke Jumper, Anna Quick, is recruited by the CIA at her father's request. Her mission is to help rescue her father, who has information to stop a terrorist plot, from a fire ridden jungle island. Anna receives intense survival and combat training from special op, John Brock. The action suspense carried the story along at a rapid pace, with the actual romance blossoming in the last chapters. Anna Quick comes across as capable and gutsy, but very likeable.
