Not everyone will like this, and it is definitely different from her other series of English murder mysteries. It is haunting, though, and some of the characters will really draw you in. Definitely for when you're in the mood to enjoy a quietly dark mystery.

Definetly not the usual grimes, as a matter of fact the ONLY Grimes I have liked. This is a very diferent, dark story that has you following two teenage girls one of which has lost her memory and is following her own trail so to speak. This story has a lot of twists and turns and keeps you interested and even pulling for the spirited (but not angst ridden like so many teenage characters) main character. Great read, but not for the sensitive.

The story was riveting. From the beginning, you, too, will wonder who this girl is as she pieces together who she might be and where she might have come from. It's a page-turner to the end!

This is the first book I have read from Grimes, but it won't be the last!

Too gruesome

Very good book. Grimes takes on a whole different style from her British mysteries and does so very successfully!

This book tells a unique mystery story. I enjoyed the two strong female characters. Their concern of both wild and domestic animals and how they rescued them was of interest to me. I look forward to reading the sequel.

Not the usual Grimes book, but I liked it a lot!

She didn't know who she was-or where she came from. But one morning she awoke in a strange bed and breakfast with a message that her 'daddy' would soon return from Santa Fe. Fearing the worst, this nameless young woman disappeared into the wilderness. She christened herself Andi Oliver, from the initials o her packpack, and lived in the mountains, utterly alone. Until she met Mary Dark Hope, a girl who shared her lonliness and confusion. Together, they vowed to track down the one person who held the key to Andi's identity -- the stranger who abducted her.

Biting the Moon is so interesting that I jumped right into the story from page 1 and it held me all the way.
