This is a quick and enjoyable read. The main characters, Belinda and Griffin, are great if not somewhat boring. I enjoyed the storyline; however, this is not Rochelle Alers at her best. The storyline of two godparents assuming their responsibility to their godchildren and finding love in the midst of it all is one that is compelling and predictable. Belinda and Griffin are almost too good to be true, but then that is typical of most main characters in romance novels. If you are looking for a quick romance novels with great sex scenes then I recommend this book. Rochelle Alers has definitely written novels that are better then this one.

From the Back of the Book:

Lesson #1:

Love arrives when you least expect it

Belinda Eaton is dedicated to her job as a history teacher in one of Philadelphia's most challenging high schools. Committing to a man? Not exactly on her agenda. But then a tragedy brings her closer to gorgeous attorney Griffin Rice and they have to share custody of their twin goddaughters.

Griffin never saw himself as husband or father material. But suddenly family vacations and Sunday dinners with the girls are the highlight of his schedule---and getting closer to their smart, intriguing godmother is his number one priority. Can he teach her that their partnership has tuned into a loving relationship powerful enough to last?
