  Black Precious Pearl

Why all the Abuse?
Why all the Neglect?
What makes someone do the things they may do?
You feel all the pain
No joy to share
The wonders of all the world passing on by

To please another’s mind
To please someone who might care

Catch 22 with all you might do
Change hanging, loosely in ones hand
All they might have in the world

Lost Treasures
Lost Memories
Searching one’s dark mind for things of the past
Full of confusion
Full of bad choices
Hopelessness looming in the light
Half-truths contorting the beliefs right before their eyes
Always caste to the side
Not given two glances wondering what they did wrong
Asking Allah, Is this my plan to be?

Wanting to be given a chance
A piece of this materialistic world

Throwing one’s soul into another with hatred

Choice made to Love
Choice made to die
Disregard on the side of one’s life

But yet still a black precious pearl
And just for one minute you heard
My World.
