You can't  "block" a member. If you don't want to swap with them in the future, you can add them to your buddy list with a tag to remind yourself not to order from them again.

Another way is to accept the order. Then you would click the PM button to find the persons name and check that against your buddy list to see if you have any tags for that person.

I wish they would create some way to block a person - or at least flag a person (set them 'on ignore') instead of having to add them to our buddy list.  On the buddy list they're mixed in with the people we actually want to order from! :)

I mean if one really wants a book then one shouldn't care where it comes from.

Yeah, but....

I don't have a smoking condition, but I've traded with one member that has sent extremely smokey books.  I don't want to trade with that person again.

Another person sent a moldy book.  I marked it "Received with a Problem" but they did not even bother to answer my 2 PMs.  I lost my credit on a rotten book that I threw away.  I'd rather not trade with that person again.  Unless I break the rules and let any future bad book from that member go lost, I run a high (in my thinking) risk of getting burned by losing a credit for another bad book.

It would be nice to be able to block those 2 members.  OTOH, 2 members & 3 books out of 150 transactions received isn't bad.

I liked the idea of putting the DO NOT TRADE WITHs on your Buddy List and if you use Tags then you won't confuse them with "the Good Guys". I have received 4 bad books (stains and water damage)  but only 1 who refused to refund my credit--so that woman is now on my Buddy list with a big warning tag!
