This isn't a hidden gem but it sure is a gossipy look at Anna Nicole's life.  I don't like Rita Cosby's voice but I have always thought of her as a reputable news person.  I haven't seen any lawsuits filed on this yet ( but I did read that Stern was thinking of filing one) but Howard Stern comes off looking like Anna's personal drug pusher.  I'm reading a library copy..I wouldn't buy the book but it is pretty interesting.  It's a quick read too.

I saw that this had been published.  IIRC the other guy (Dannilynn's father) said it was filled with lies, as well.  Seems to me Rita Cosby is profiting from Anna's death, which I think is pretty despicable.

I would have to agree that it seems that Rita Cosby is profiting from Annas death. I used to think of her as reputable but now I am not so sure. I would like to read the book, but I don't want to put money in her pocket. Maybe I will get it form the library sometime.

Anna Nicole's mother invited Rita Cosby to the funeral in the Bahamas. She was apparently booted from the post-funeral reception for not being on Stern's guest list.

Rita says in the book that the lady that had the post funeral reception invited her as her guest.  It was at that lady's home.  I guess I am in the minority about the authors right to write this book.  As I mentioned..I wouldn't spend my $$$ to buy it but I was glad to read my libraries copy.  Birkhead would not appreciate the mention of his relationship with Stern but Rita had 3 witnesses tell her the same story.  I don't see this as any different than writing a book about any celebrity.

Rita was interviewed today on a local radio show -- I missed it while driving ds to school. The two talk show hosts conducting the interview have been in radio/TV for many years and they believe Rita's writing reflects extensive research. Perhaps they were duped too, but they believe Rita's information is credible.

I think I'll write a book constrasting and comparing my life to ANS.  Freak Show vs. Suburban Housewife.
