Absolutely fasinating story. Although the narrator's voice was very deep and difficult to understand at the beginning of the story, I found it to be very soothing after the first CD. I look forward to listening/reading more stories from this author. I would encourage anyone who listens to this to also listen to the interview with the author at the end of the story.

This was a wonderful story on how life can change in a heartbeat and you are responsible for yourself. Tells the story of how a mother and daughter have to rely on relatives to survive in Persia. Interesting learning about how women are treated, valued and used in the culture. A really good read and listen!
