My husband read this book, which is historical military fiction. He said it was very, very similar to Obdurman by Philip Ziegler, a history book about the revenge that the British took 13 years after Gordon was killed in Africa. My husband felt that the similarity was too close to be coincidence, so he rated this book as a 2.
