Anderson did not expect to find such a beautiful woman running the rescue and he quickly found out she was as stubborn as she is beautiful. She is told who he is but everyone else is to know him as the new security expert to help with some vandalism issues they been having at the rescue. Anderson quickly finds himself feeling protective of Jennifer Rodgers.
Jennifer's parents had divorced because her adventure seeking dad found it more important to run after dangerous pursuits than to stay home and love his wife and daughter, on the last trip he had died. She reminded herself of that every time she looked at the handsome Ranger who was in her personal space. When his job was done at the rescue she knew he would go onto the next dangerous mission. She did not want him there or to be afraid of why he was there. She changed her tune after a few attempts on her life, her barn being burned down and other things happening on her land. She kept hoping it was only her cantankerous neighbor on not some dangerous drug cartel. Once they found a body buried by her new area for her gators, she knew it was serious.
Through all the turmoil can Jennifer find her faith in God once again and find it in her heart to believe in love?
