I enjoy historical fiction, I though I would enjoy this book. But from the start the author jumps around from Jane Boleyn to Anne to Katherine; back to Jane then to Anne and then to Katherine...that's only the first 25 pages. It was too long and confusing for me.

I know I am a true, die hard Philippa Gregory fan, but The Boleyn Inheritance did not hold me as captive as her other books have. The story is told by three different characters, all wives of Henry VIII, at various points in their relationships with him, and I found the bouncing around to be a bit distracting.

All of that aside, still a very interesting read.
