Many Bolo books are a collection of short stories. "Bolo Brigade" is a full-length novel (376 pages) about two Mark XXIV Bolos ("Freddy" and "Ferdy") and their heroic efforts to perform their duty against invaders (the Malach, a nasty and technically deadly dinosaur-like race).
