A full city block, five above ground floors were open to the plaza, and during events were crowded with onlookers. The kitchens, storage areas, passages and pipes were found on two below ground floors. The ground floor plaza was later re-designed and became a lounging court more similar to today's first floor open spaces when automobiles became common - they were not able to turn around.« less
