For everyone who has loved James Herriot's stories or books about animals, this book is wonderful: http://www.paperbackswap.com/book/details/9780977288106-Tending+Critters+In+The+Ridges There is one copy currently available in the system or you can order it via Flylady's web site - this is her vet that wrote this book. He self-published it and I don't think it is available anywhere else yet. |

For anyone who likes chickens, Hen & the Art of Chicken Maintenance is a funny and touching book. It is one man's account of raising a few backyard chickens in England. Guaranteed to make you want a few hens of your own. ;-) Last Edited on: 9/8/07 10:27 AM ET - Total times edited: 1 |
