Howdy,
I got an email saying that one of my book request was canceled at 8/24/2007 3:17 AM ET. Today the 24th I gotten the book that was canceled by the system. So If the book got canceled by the system then how did the person know who to send it to?. ie how did she know my address.
When I recived the book it was sent on August 22, 07 which meant it only took 2 day's to get here. |

Probably the person who sent it to you forgot to mark it mailed, and that's why it cancelled. Help Center sez: |

The giveaway that this was a system cancellation (if it was) was the 3 AMish action--system actions (like cancelling requests etc) seem to take place around 3 AM. Of course, maybe she is a night owl and cancelled it herself by mistake although she'd sent it... Once the sender has printed the address, the requestor can't cancel. This is a good thing, bcs it prevents ppl from cancelling a book that's been mailed but not marked mailed yet...so she couldnt have sent it after you cancelled it, unless you gave her your address another way... Mo Help Center (there's always mo help Center LOL).
Two days is really fast shipping time. I once got a book sent from SF, CA to Providence, RI in 2 days, which SHOCKED me. Media Mail, too. You really never know! The usual is about 4 or 5 days, but sometimes the Media Snail turns turbo...
