There was so much cynical, barbed repartee between the two main characters that it exhausted me by page 100. Not my cup of tea at all. The author tries way too hard to be witty on every page.

I am giving this book a big, fat five-stars because it was laugh out loud funny, which annoyed DH to no end! I just couldn't hold back the big laughs.

This is my first Emily Henry but will not be the last.

If you like romance tropes, and they're all discussed here (including Bigfoot Erotica), you've got to read this book!
