7 days give or take. Sometimes it can be shorter or longer by a few hours makeing seem like its not 7 because of time zone differences.

The member must accept within 5 days or it goes to the next in line.  You will see the name of the book  in your Transaction Archive with a red X, saying "no answer".

My bad I thought you were asking how long it would take to roll over after the order was accepted.  BTW the 7 days is if they pick the last day to mail.

If your asking from order time how long they have to accept then June is right.

Personally I try and get the book out w/in a day or two at the most, unless its the wkend and I am not around much. I have been waiting 6 days and no response. I had requested this book from another member with the same results. Very frustrating as I really want this book!!

same here I requested a book and I've heard nothing so far.

What happens when a person does not accpt your request? by that I mean he lets the request go past the deadline to accpt the request and what about our credits?, will we get them back or are we up a creek without a paddle?

If a person says that he or she cannot mail the book (or the rquest times out), the request goes to the next person in the First in First out (FIFO) line to mail. If there are no other copies, the book goes onto your wishlist automatically and you receive your credit back, as well as an email saying as much.
