Looking for something where a female is in a kidnapping situation but ends up falling in love and helping the male character. I really liked The Immortal Highlander by Karen Marie Moning. Another favorite series is Immortals After Dark by Kresley Cole.

Many people have suggested The Blackdagger Brotherhood series but my library does not carry those.

The black dagger brotherhood is fantastic. You can get them here without too much of a wait, at least the earlier ones to get you started and to see if you like J.R. Ward's style. Book 3 (lover Awakened) and Lover Mine have kidnap situations in them. Both so good, but I would definitely start at the beginning and read them in order. I also enjoyed the new series by Monica McCarty. I can't remember which one is first but The Hawk and The Ranger are a few of them. One has a kidnapping situation but I can't remember which one.

I am reading The Outlaw and the Lady by Lorraine Heath - very good! She is at the wrong place at a bank robbery, with a twist. It's an old west historical, but I definitely recommend it. Very moving love story.

Immortal Highlander was one of my first romance books that I just love. You MUST read Outlander but Hannah Howell has some like you are looking for. Highland Knight (or a similar title) pops into my head. Also, did you read the rest of Karen Marie Moning's highlander series. They are all good.

Quite a few of Hannah Howell's highland series involve kidnapping.
