Does it take forever to receive your books or is it just mine?  My mom sends me things all the time through media mail and it takes about two days, but these books have taken over a week and they are still about 4 states away?

The thing is, it just depends.  I've sent books from CA to FL, Media Mail, and had it take 3 days.  I've sent books here in CA, just about 100 miles away, and had it take more than 2 weeks.

What method are you using to determine they are 4 states away?  If it's the little truck, that's not reliable.  Of course, it if was scanned 4 states away today then that's different.

i don't know what it is, but recently books i've ordered have been taking a long time to get to me.  maybe it has something to do with spring.  just know that you aren't alone -- it's the general media mail ebb and flow.  :)

If your book was sent as media mail it can take up to a month. Media mail ships on a first in first out basis but only after all first class and priority mail is dealt with. This means that a media mail package can sit for days at a time until someone has time to deal with it. It is kind of like space available but time available.
