I was looking through another member's Wish List and saw a book listed with the book type Turtleback. Now I'm curious. What is this?

A Turtleback is a type of binding typically used in school libraries. It is generally sturdier than a paperback but cheaper than a hardback - think of a paperback-sized book with hard covers.

It was originally the name of a publisher.
