Thank YOU to whomever mentioned this -- I am too lazy to find the thread it was mentioned in.  I ordered last Friday a Jean Plaidy book and it arrived today.  Yea!  Wonderful service.  I'll be making another purchase or two soon!

I love that place!!  Last week I ordered The Scarlet Lion (Elizabeth Chadwick) and St Thomas' Eve (Jean Plaidy).  I really love the new UK Plaidy covers .  A few months ago I bought Uneasy Lies the Head and Murder Most Royal from them.

I haven't received my order yet, but I'm sure it will be here any day now. I ordered two of the Plaidy's, but I don't remember which two it was now. I'm going to order 2 of Elizabeth Chadwick's books next.

Whoever mentioned this site, thanks from me too!!

They have FREE shipping, even to the US!

Now, how cool is that?!

I have received my first two books from this site and was very pleased with the service (and of course the free shipping!) I'll be ordering a lot more.

I received Wife to the Bastard by Hilda Lewis and The Scarlet Lion by Elizabeth Chadwick.

I was looking at this site and they have some books I want but my question is does it change the price to American money and when you're browsing how do you know how much the books cost it appears to be in pounds.

Holly, if you use a credit card to pay, the charge will show up on your bill in dollars. Right now, 1 English pound equals about 2 American dollars, so just double the pounds to get the price.

My credit card company charged me a small fee for converting dollars to pounds (it was less than $1).  So worth it!

I LOVE that site!! They always ship so fast, it's just amazing to me that the shipping is free! I've gotten a few of my fave historical mystery series books there months before they were released here in the states...I hate to spend too much time there though, ye olde Visa begins to weep if I do...LOL

FYI, the company has been affected by the recent flooding in England.  They are not on the web right now and may not be operating at all as they are in one of the badly hit areas :(   I wish them luck during this.  I've just come back from UK last week (rained every single day I was there) and things are pretty bad, they do not know how to deal with such large scale disasters.  And it's still raining.

Cheers, Margaret

Oh, I hope their warehouses with all those books weren't affected!!  How sad would that be??
