The Corset Diaries by Katie MacAlister.....and I'm getting a book from an author I've never read before, but from the descriptions of some of her work, some of her characters are plus sized:

Rida Allen

The one I'm reading right now - Seize The Fire by Laura Kinsale - features a plus-sized heroine and a hero who wants her to stay that way.  No dress sizes or anything mentioned (it's a historical) but the adjective "plump" gets used a lot.  I actually found it a little annoying at times.  Like, I get it, she's plump, can we get on with the story already?  It's a good book so far though.  I'm close to finishing & still really enjoying it.

There was a Silhouette Desire some years ago about a plus-size. For some reason I'm thinking 'woman' was in the title but I could be way off base. I'll root around in my reading notebook to see if I come up with what I think is the title.

UPDATE: I think I found the title, Justine Davis' A WHOLE LOT OF LOVE, Silhouette Desire; I read it in July 2000 but don't know the book number.

I second the ones mentioned - bet me, corset diaries, he loves lucy..havent read The Perfect Wife but it's in mt tbr...I think the Lori Foster book is Too Much Temptation and not sure if the sequel Never Too Much has a large size woman or not...for erotic romanceStripped Bare by Lena Matthews is good.

Eloisa James' fourth book in the Essex Sisters series has a plus sized theme.  I think it is Pleasure for Pleasure.  I loved that series.

Stripped Bare is the 3rd in that series though you can read it alone - joker's wild trilogy - call me, three nights, and stripped bare. the woman in stripped bare is a student who works part-time at a sex shop..the woman in call me visits there a lot because she's does inventions and is checking out the stock, etc so she appears off and on in the first 2 books. Brodie is a professor in one of her classes or previous classes. a pretty decent storyline for a book meant for the sex!

Michele Ann Young also has a "plump" heroine in her book "No Regrets".

Sherrilyn Kenyon's "Night Play" specifically mentions the heroine is a size 18.

It's a paranormal, though.  The hero's a werewolf!

Historically speaking, women in the 17 and 1800s would have been around a 10-14, like that was the socially acceptable size. Yet, all the historical romances I read, the heroine is described as a skinny little thing.

They needed corsets for a reason, duh!
