We used to be able to use an existing listing for books that have no isbn number and post one of our own.  The new system doesn't let us do that. Are they considering changing that back? If not, shouldn't the listing disappear when the book is taken? Otherwise we're going to have the system getting clogged with books that no longer exist.

Also how do we email R&R? When clicking on contact us, then clicking on Robert, it takes you to the help center.

The only time you can reuse a non-ISBN listing is if you ordered that non-ISBN book. I don't know if you can still do that, but you had to have ordered THAT book in order to reuse it. Its the only way to be sure it is the same book.

Sherry,  Do the assigned ISBN's ever get taken out of the system?  I requested and received a book with one and then reposted it with the correct # from the back of the book.  It is wishlisted with the assigned # and of course no one knows I have it on my list.  Can the old # be replace with the correct one or should I repost it with the original assigned #?  The book is McKettricks Pride by Linda Lael Miller.  The original # was 60998,  I reposted it with #0373771908.  It would be great if this change could be made.

No, they don't get removed, as far as I know. And no, you shouldn't list it withthe non-ISBN number, it should only be listed as a non-ISBN when there is not one on the book. I imagine the person WL'ng the non-ISBN number, is really no longer WL'ng it, it just hasn't come off since they put it there, whereas regular ISBN WL'd books get cleared because they actually get used.

Considering there are 97 copies of McKettrick's Pride posted, I bet no one is still wishing for it :)
