I live across the street from a used book store. I go there at least twice a week. I get deep discounts for being a contributer and a 'frequent flyer.'  I can't post the entire contents of the store here, but if you are looking for something particular, feel free to PM me and I will check if they have it, then list it and PM you to let you know it's in my bookshelf. Please make sure to specify if you need an exact ISBN or have a special condition like 'no ex-library books' or 'need large print.'

*this is a free service from someone who will take any excuse they can find to go hang out at the bookstore ;)

*This store is arranged by genre, e.g. mysteries, romance, childrens, etc.  I am getting requests for books by authors I haven't heard of, so I don't know where to start looking. When requesting books from me, please let me know which genre I might start looking for that author in. Thanks, that will make things a little easier for me!

The last judgement

The missing witness

Any condition is fine as long as it is not to beat up and is readable.

thanks so much

Have a great day!!!!!

Emily, I'm looking for the following:

The Free Lunch (ISBN-13: 9780312865245 - ISBN-10: 0312865244 ) by Spider Robinson.

Wish You Were Here (ISBN-13: 9781857236873 - ISBN-10: 1857236874 )by Tom Holt

I'm number one on the WL for these books under these ISBNs. but it looks like Wish You Were Here is only listed with the particular ISBN anyway.  The Free Lunch is listed under two and I'm number one for the hardback version/number 3 for the paperback, so if you find it in paperback, you'll get an order.  Postable per PBS guidelines is fine with me. FYI, if you find any Tom Holt and Robert Rankin books, grab them.  These two are a bit of a pain to find in the US.  I'm on the WL for a handful of books by these two, along with several other people, so it would be a good purchase on your part. :-)

Thanks for looking!

Sandy

edited because one of the books I listed just came in!!

Emily, what a lovely thing to offer!  You have gained yourself much good Karma ;)

How lucky are you anyway - living across from a book store - OMG!!  Can I put you on my "Buddy" list for future reference?

Cheers, Margaret

That is so nice of you.  I would love to be able to find these last 3 books for my mom:

I'll Be Right Back: Memories of Tv's Greatest Talk Show (Thorndike Press Large Print Biography Series)
Author: Mike Douglas

Author: Maxine Brown

Looking Back to See: A Country Music Memoir

The Tooth of Time: A Maxine and Strech Mystery
Author: Sue Henry

I am the only person wishing for the first 2 books, the last book I am #8 of 10.  Appreciate your help & have fun shopping!  Lucky you.

Emily, my youngest son just returned this week after backpacking for six weeks across Europe and Asia. I would love for him to read Neither Here Nor There by Bill Bryson. Perhaps a copy of this book is hidden somewhere in the recesses of the bookstore. Thanks SO much for looking!
