I absolutely adore this book. Hidier's writing style is beautiful and the plot is rich and addicting. I think it's a must-read for anyone, but it's geared toward the young adult crowd.

This was an amazing book and it gave me a deep glimpse into a view of a teenager from another culture. It was fascinating and informative as well as creative and enjoyable.

This book is very wordy! The author likes to say in 20 sentences what can be said in two. As such, I skipped a lot of paragraphs which I thought were redundant. I usually love long books with lots of description. But, this was really a lot of redundant descriptions.

I still liked the story, though. There were some laugh out loud moments, and some that brought tears to my eyes. Also, I'm from two cultures as well and could absolutely relate to the character. I'd recommend this book to anyone who feels that "in between" feeling that comes from being a child of two countries, cultures, traditions, etc.

This may be a fine book, but for me it was too young adult for me, maybe if I would have stayed with it longer, but I just couldn't

I'd say 2 things... this book is
1: for the bookless readers who are desperate for some good writing style but just a book in general

2: take it out of my hands! please!
