Very well researched and written account of the Bounty. The author wrote this from many angles, and leaves the reader wondering what the real story is. Was Fletcher alive and back in England after the mutiny? Read this book and you can wonder also...

This was a lot more interesting than I thought it would be. Caroline Alexander was a way of bringing history & its players to life. If nothing else, it shows that history has dealt too harshly with Captain Bligh.
