I'm considering joining Box-O-Books and I have a couple of questions. Do folks who use that feature ever trade WL book for a WL book (which is what I'd be interested in doing) or is that generally frowned upon? Also, do BOB members have a forum different from the one on PBS with a Bazaar, etc?

TIA!!!

Once you post a WL book, it goes to the first person in line.  I'm not sure there's any way around that, unless the books aren't posted, but then how would you know who to trade with?  I'd say, as a pretty new boxer, that it would be frowned upon.  Basically, you'd be trying to jump the WL "line."

Thanks Kerrie! That's what I figured ... I just wasn't 100% sure. (I just didn't know if folks with BOB would say something like "I have a copy of Harry Potter 7 -- or whatever -- that I'd be willing to trade for any book on my WL," for example.) I guess it makes sense that it would be frowned upon.

There isn't a separate forum. You can go to the Community tab then to Box o Books and search other boxers shelves.  The wish list books when posted automatically go on hold to be offered to the first person on the list.

You only swap non-WL books on BOB's.....WL books are first person in line gets it offered to them and then on down the line.............
