I only have about 40-50 books on my shelf at any one time, would it still be worth it for me to do BOB?

Yes, IMO.  I really enjoyed BOB and was able to trade a lot of books that had sat in my shelf for a long time.

Kerrie,

I only have 45-50 books on my shelf, too - and I am LOVING being a boxer.  I don't have to spend credits on non-WL books - even if you're only swapping a couple of books at a time, you're not tying up your credits doing so - you can save them for WL books!

When I'm boxing and looking for a particular book I always try to pick the people with the least amount of books on their shelves to give them equal trade time ;0)

I agree with Tammy in regards to picking a BOB transaction by the fewest # of books on a shelf but I do it for a different reason.  A shelf with too many listings causes me to very confused and/or frustrated.  I like to do search smaller bookshelves.

Kerrie....I checked out yyour shelf and you have a great slection.  I enjoy being a boxer and I think you will enjoy it too. I have a small bookshelf and understand it when  it is hard to look at someones shelf that just goes on and on and on. Small is good!!

I usually look for people with smaller shelves too when Im boxing. My shelf is usually between 50-100 and I've had great luck with boxing. I think you'll really enjoy it!

I think having a small bookshelf is fine.  I started bob with under 50 and still don't have a large bookshelf  but have not had a problem finding trades.  it also benifits the site by paying the $8.

There are a lot of boxers with small shelves. The real key is versatility. A secondary thing is keeping your trade requests within comparison for your selections.  IE: if half your shelf is kids books, and the shelf you want to trade with is a person with none, don't try for a box half the size of your shelf hahahaha

Your shelf contains some good regular romance, christian romance, mysteries, children's books, and a smattering of general fiction. Sounds like a good variety that will net you some nice trades! Watch out, the first couple days can be slammers!

Go for it!!  :)

welcome to boxing kerrie!  you will probably be overwhelmed with offers for the first week or so...then it will slow to a nice pace. don't be afraid to offer someone else a box,  but do be prepared to be turned down on occasion.  remember ,  it's not personal  :-)
