This book recounts the experiences of U.S. OSS agents' efforts behind German lines in WWII. It reads better than the best spy fiction and takes you with these young men as they work with partisans to help defeat the Nazis. Some pay the price with their lives. The author expertly makes you feel almost as if you are there with them.
