absolutely LOVE this book along with D'Alessandro's other book Red Roses Mean Love. It has the three things that I find crucial in a romance book 1) likeable -if not lovable characters 2) an interesting plot mixed with tension and humor 3)IMPORTANT!- a romantic ending (no - I love you's and thats the end).

This is the type of book that you won't be able to put down. The way D'Alessandro writes makes you feel the love lifting off the page. The tension and passion -no its not sleazly in the least- between these too is unbelievable. You will NOT be tempted to skim this book! All the characters are interesting and the subplots too.

Great Historical Romance. A man with a troubled past helps young women to escape the unhappy fate of arranged marriages. Great charecters, great conflict.

Well written story about a nobleman who becomes a "bride thief", absconding with women who were promised in marriage against their will before they are in fact married. He sends the women off to new lives on the continent or colonies in an effort to get over his guilt about his sister's nightmare marriage. He meets up with a candidate that catches his eye, heart and soul. Some tension.

Samantha had no intention of beiong betrothed against her will. She had a plan and it dind'nt include being swept into a pair of powerful arms and spirited away by a masked rider.

his exploits were legendary, his life filled with danger. He was the Bride Thief who had his own reasons for helping young woman escape the unhappy fate of arranged marriages.

This was a great story about a masked man who would help brides escape who were being forced to marry against their will. When Samantha is being forced to marry against her will, she has a plan and tells the Bride Thief that she doesn't need his help. When she meets a man who catches her interest, she still is haunted by the kiss and sympathy of the Bride Thief.
