I had a hard time getting through this book. I was waiting for something to happen and it never did. It was suppose to be written from the view of an 8 year old girl but she spoke like someone much older. I think the author didn't have a clue as to how to think like a young child. I never did get the point of the book. Perhaps if you have read every other book there is to read you might want to try this one.

The magical novel about three daughters struggling with divorce and dislocation introduces an exceptional writer.
Set in the early 1970's, Bright Angel Time is the story of Kate and her sisters, and the life oon the road they adopt when their divorced and devastated mother falls in love with the mysterious, seductive Anton.

Hard to give a fair explanation of this book, though I will say that I couldn't put it down. Now onto it's sequel - "Gorgeous Lies."

First of a good series, it paints a detailed picture of a blended family and an interesting time in our history.
