Book most relevant for young adolescents. Author is Harvard Graduate School of Education and spent 8 years as director of school for young adolescents. Written in young teen language including cartoons to emphasize points. Does not deal with drugs or gang issues. Authored in 1985 but remains accurate on parents and teenagers relationships. Effectively used many of the concepts to improve adolescent and parent relationships within therapy sessions.
