Readers, take note. Timeless Romance Anthologies have always provided new stories in their books. Not this time. Pay close attention. Other than the first two stories, the remaining four have been previously published. I will list them below. Since I read these on Kindle, I could not see the back cover to ascertain if Mirror Press admitted this, so a reader might be aware before buying.
A FRIEND INDEED -- G+
Caroline's father found her a man to marry. It is Caro's long-time friend, George Barrington. She thinks George will marry her out of pity (the family is in dire financial straits). We soon learn that George loves Caro. How does he get her to understand? OK.
A HAPPY BEGINNING -- 4 Stars
Sophie loves working in Scotland but is less satisfied with the family where she works as a governess. Mr. Harrington worries Sophie with his insinuations. She is alone and concerned. She tries to strike up a relationship with Dermot, the head groom. However, he's leery of high-class British females. When Mr. Harrington makes a move on Sophie, Dermot helps her escape.
THE ROAD TO CAVAN TOWN -- 3 Stars

Isaac Dancy is enamored with the local beauty Sophia Kilchrest. However, Issac's walking companion, Alice Wheatley, is in love with him. How can she get his interest? Who cares? Just plain boring.
A CHRISTMAS PROMISE -- 5 stars

The charming way the author tells this tale enchanted me immediately. Sean and Maeve are a charming couple, and Mae's brothers are a hoot.
DREAM OF A GLORIOUS SEASON -- 4 Stars

As the younger sister, Elizabeth is waiting for her older sister to marry so that she can enter society. To Elizabeth's frustration, this is an English custom that her parents have decided to honor. The truth is that Mary, the elder, is a shrew. She has little chance of marrying except for the long-ago agreement between neighboring households. Julian and Mary were casually betrothed. However, now Julian is an adult and wants nothing to do with Mary. This is an unusual and entertaining story. I was surprised by how complete the story felt, with just a few pages. However, I thought the author used a heavy hand on the mean older sister.

A fairly newly married couple hit a rough patch when Lucy wants to go out each night, and Reed wants to stay at home. Lucy's family gets involved, and the fun begins. Light-hearted fun.
