Brocolli Casserole

  • 1 Large package - Thawed or fresh broccoli florettes
  • 1 Family size can - Cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 Medium size tub - Sour cream
  • 2 Dollops - Mayonaise
  • 1 Package - Shredded mild cheddar or shredded mexican blend cheese
  • 1 Can - French fried onion rings (By the canned green beans)

1. Preheat oven to 375 F.

2. In a 9x13" baking dish combine brocolli florets, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, mayonaise, and shredded cheese until it is well distributed.

3. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 35-45 minutes until the casserole bubbles.

4. Spread the french fried onion rings on top, leave uncovered, and bake for another 5 minutes until crispy. (If you don't want to use the onion rings you can use 1 sleeve of ritz crackers, crumbled)



Most broccoli casseroles call for a Ritz cracker topping but my family loves to use the French fried onion rings that people put on green bean casseroles. The onion adds a nice flavor to the smooth, cheesy broccoli and crisps nicely.
