Brown Sugar Biscuits

Ingredients
  • 1 Stick - Butter
  • 1/4 Cup - Brown Sugar
  • 1 1/4 Cups - Flour
  • 2/3 Cups - Milk
  • 1/2 Tablespoon - Baking soda
Directions

1. Mix the butter and Brown sugar together until you have a paste. This will take some time.

2. Mix in the flour, milk, and baking soda.

3. At this point you should have a ragged dough. If the dough is too thick, add milk, if the dough is too thin, add flour.

4. Turn the oven to 350 degrees Farenheit.

5. Place the dough on a baking sheet in small lumps.

6. Bake for 20 - 30 minutes and then cool for five minutes before touching.

7. Enjoy your biscuits.


Notes

My friends comment that these are actually cookies, but I remain firm on the fact that they are actually biscuits. Also, these biscuits will soften after about a day and become dense, so eat them before then. If anyone can think of a way to reverse this effect, please send me a message.
