Classic locked-room mystery, set in Victorian England. When a very private party at Buckingham Palace ends with the discovery of a prostitute's mutilated body, the suspect list is quickly reduced to five very prominent men -- including the Prince of Wales. Mannered mysteries, however, are not my thing, and it just didn't grab me. Part of a series.

Anne Perry is as good as it gets. Couldn't put it down. So many twists and turns. Leaves you breathless.
Another excellent Anne Perry -- again, she really kept me guessing!
A very good book that was hard to put down. Murder in Buckingham Palace with Thomas Pitt and Gracie (Charlotte isn't in this one)
