This biography really brings back a time in America when people were not afraid to think out of the box. Fuller's philosophy of doing what is needed, and not what is required to make a profit, is in amazing contrast to current practice. His early focus on affordable housing is something worth emulating today, not only in the third world, but here at home. His refusal to get sidelined by political differences is also brought home in the book. Highly recommended, very readable, I have to give it four stars. How about that Dymaxion car?
