I had a bulk order for 2 books yesterday and got the label printed using online postage and PBS DC, packed up and sent them this morning along with a few other packages. I noticed that the "instant" credit only applies to one book in the order....only got the e-mail notifying me of the credit for one book, and only one book shows up in the credit registry.

Previously when using PBS DC, when the bulk order package was scanned, you got credit for all the books in the package right away. That doesn't seem to be the case now with the instant credit you get when marking the book mailed. I wonder if the second credit will come through when the book actually gets scanned by USPS, or only when the person marks it received? Anyone else had this happen and know how it works now? There's nothing addressing this that I can find in the Help Center--it addresses the "quick credit" that you get with a USPS scan, but not the new "Instant" credit for marking a book with online postage mailed.

Cheryl, were the books actually linked together as one order? Or did the person return to order another book later on? The Help Center says that for the latter case, they won't be a bulk order and so only one credit would be received via DC if they're packed together.

Yes, they were a bulk order...both ordered together at once, one label, had to do the little checkboxes to indicate that yes, I could send both books at once, etc. Done that many, many times with the regular DC and it always works to give 2 or 3 or however many credits as soon as it's scanned.

Same thing happened to me.  I'm wondering if the difference is the printable postage.

Case 1:  I used PBS postage to mail a two book bulk order and got one credit immediately after I marked it mailed.  The other one came through when the books were marked received.

Case 2:  I only purchased PBS DC for a two book bulk order, and purchased postage then mailed them from the post office.  The clerk scanned the package when I paid.  I got the credits for both books that evening.

*shrug*

Yeah, I'm sure that I will eventually get the other credit, not worried about it, really. Just wondered if anyone else had experienced this and/or had reported the discrepancy to R&R? I hate reporting things that 50 others have already sent a feedback about cuz I know they're busy enough as it is!

Glad to know this is happening across the board.  Just had my first bulk request and only got the 1 credit with the printable postage.  This was for 3 books, but since I'll get the other credits eventually I won't worry about it.
