Unbelievably entertaining, a 20 on a scale of 10. Funny, knowledgeable, insightful, with memorable characters and some surprising plot twists.

Swagger, the main character, is a stoic, serious, street smart American who knows how to outwit jerks and accomplish really difficult military missions. He has no desire to take credit for success.

And boy can Stephen Hunter write!
