not a bad effort for this, as a first book. not alot of archeology lingo. descriptions of the Louisiana Bayou. the smell, bugs, water, mud, humidity, so good it makes you very happy you are in an air conditioned place reading about it.
there is a teeny bit of a possible budding romance, with a good mystery.
you learn a little bit about contract archeology, the laws governing the Native American graves and artifacts, but not so much that you can't enjoy the mystery.
looking forward to #2 book.
