Helpful Score: 1
This is the story of C.S. Lewis and Joy Davidman. They met and became friends, married out of convenience so she could stay in England, and fell in love. It is more than a simple love story; it's a story of how love develops and thrives even in the worst of times.

If you're interested in the real man behind the Narnia books or you've ever seen the movie Shadowlands with Anthony Hopkins and Debra Winger, I strongly suggest this book.
