This is a nice bit of fluff ideal for the beach (or when you're wishing for the beach anyway). The book is set in Costa Rica and the author's research has payed off for the reader; the details of the landscape and culture make you feel like you're having a mini-vacation as you read. Although it is technically British, there is none of the British humor, slang, or references I typically enjoy about British chick-lit. It is romantic without being explicit or sappy and has some daddy issues thrown in for depth. Enjoy!
