This book is sweet and very funny. The art is INCREDIBLE and it's almost worth buying the book just for the detailed illustrations that I ended up studying for ages while reading the book. The story itself is the Christmas story but embellished in a brilliant, funny way by the use of traditional Cajun dialog. I've read many of the Night Before Christmas books and this is definitely one of my favorites. And apparently my coworkers agreed because they ended up passing it around among them for days before I was allowed to take it home with me. :)

Very fun, good read. A little difficult on the dialect, but loads of fun! Loved the illustrations. Would recommend reading "Twas the Night Before Christmas" first so the kids can follow the storyline better :-)
