I think this series gets better with each book. The political intrigues in DC mixed in with murder and US House staffer, Kit Marshall and her best friend and fellow co-worker, Meg Peters, solving the murders makes good reading. This time Kit's fiance, Doug Hollingsworth, joins in solving the murder when his dad is a suspect.
