This is the first in a series with a snarky funny vibe. I enjoyed it so much I immediately read book two (Fiasco). Temperence is trying to be a tough leader of her found family spaceship crew. "I don't want people to think I'm human. Who would want that? Humans are fragile and breakable and flawed." Arcadio is from one of the upper class ruling families and is sent along as a security specialist with her team. Battles are fought, sparks fly, people are rescued and healed, and hijinks ensue. I hope we're going to get to read about the happily ever after for every member of the crew.
