I don't subscribe to all of Bo Gritz political views but this book was a shocker!

The first portion of the book is an autobiography with many recollections of Bo Gritz' military experiences, particularly in Viet Nam and the vicinity during the Viet Nam War.
He details some of the attempts to locate and liberate POW/MIAs that he was involved in.

His material regarding the JFK assassination while old still has some interesting theories.

"Called To Serve" besides being a very good autobiography of a Special Forces icon, also explains the drug connection to the Viet Nam War via the Golden Triangle.
